What kind of patients do we see?

All of our physicians are trained and board certified urologists. We provide services to patients who have kidney stones, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, erectile dysfunction, stress incontinence, low testosterone, and other urological needs.

Where do the physicians perform their surgeries?

Our physicians they perform surgery at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Northside Hospital, WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta and Fannin Regional Hospital. In addition, our physicians perform many outpatient procedures at their surgical center located on the second floor of our Stockbridge location.

Can a CAT Scan be performed in our office?

Yes. We have a registered technologist in our office in Stockbridge. The scan is then read by a board certified radiologist and a written report is provided to our facility. If other imaging tests are required, our physicians will recommend the appropriate imaging center depending upon your insurance coverage.

Does the patient need to bring X-Rays or other imaging to our office?

Yes. It is important for the patients to bring any current x-ray/film or other imaging to our office at the time of the visit. The patient should request a copy of any x-rays from other facilities.

What are the recommendations for men to receive a PSA Test?

It is important that men older than the age of 50 and those age 40 and over who are in high-risk groups, such as African-American men and men with a family history of prostate cancer have a blood test and digital rectal examination once every year.

Do we bill insurances?

Yes, we submit all medical claims to the appropriate insurance companies. We have contracts with most major carriers. It is expected that the patient pay the co-pay, co-insurance and deductible at the time of service. If we are not contracted with your insurance carrier, full payment will be expected at time services are rendered. We offer a discounted “uninsured rate”. We do not participate with any Affordable Care Exchange Plans.

Do we precribe medication after hours?

The after-hours service is for medical emergencies only. Therefore, we do not prescribe any medication after hours via the answering service.
